dqx is free for personal use and for evaluation. Using it for work needs a paid seat per developer.
Free use
You may use dqx without paying for:
- your own projects that nobody pays you for;
- learning, teaching and open source work;
- evaluating whether dqx fits your team.
Free use has limits: 2 running projects and 6 projects in the dashboard.
Commercial use
Commercial use is any use of dqx for work: inside a company, for clients, or on anything you are paid for. Every developer who uses dqx this way needs a seat on a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly. dqx does not lock local work when you go without; we trust you to buy the seats you use.
Seats
- A seat belongs to one developer, not to a machine, and can move to another developer at any time.
- A developer signs in on up to 3 devices per seat.
- When a seat ends, that developer falls back to the free limits. Their projects and data stay on their machine.
Payment
We sell the seats ourselves and send the invoice. Mollie, a payment provider in the Netherlands, processes the payment.
